MEALS FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Every Saturday in November, Pick Up The Pace will be providing food for the holiday meals for four families.  We will also be working with local financial advisors that will be providing advise on spending and saving.   Too many times, I have seen or heard of families who weren't gifted the opportunity to enjoy a hot meal for the holiday months.  No stuffed turkey.  No cabbage with pepper.  No gravy and mashed potatoes.  2020 is when Pick Up The Pace began that change as we provided 400 individual warm and tasty meals.  That tradition will continue.  

We will be providing one family groceries for a holiday dinner, every Saturday in the month of November.   Those groceries will be offered after a two hour consultation with a financial advisor that we will have working with us.  We will need you to go to our event registration page.  There you can either sign up for this opportunity for yourself, or you can nomminate a family member or friend.  Make sure to answer all guestions on the sign up page.  Be sure to include your name, the name of the person you are nominating, contact information (email AND phone number), and best time to contact. 

We are here to help.  Whether that is by providing a plate of food or providing an opportunity to educate yourselves, the ways we can change your lives are endless and open.  Pick Up The Pace is going to help.  We are going to make a change.  It is Hampton Roads' job to take the handouts.  WE can change our community together, one step at a time.
